Azam FC registration has given the team’s head coach, Itamar Amorim hopes to emerge victors in the coming Mainland Vodacom Premier League.

 
Speaking with The Citizen, Amorim said that he has a strong team that can represent Tanzania in any continental competition and do well.
 
Amorim said that all players in the team have an international exposure which is important in enabling them to win the Mainland Premier League and perform better in the CAF competitions.
 
I am proud of my squad and the improvement they have so far shown during the training session, this impresses me and my colleagues at the technical bench, said Amorim.
 
He said that they would not underrate any team in the league and target to win all the matches and clinch the title.
 
Azam FC will launch its campaign against the newly promoted team, AFC Arusha at the Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium.

TIMU ya Azam imetua mkoani hapa Jumanne iliyopita ikiwa na kikosi kizima cha wachezaji iliyowasajili kwa gharama kubwa tayari kwa mchezo wa Ligi Kuu ya Vodacom dhidi ya AFC Arusha utakaochezwa kesho Jumamosi kwenye Uwanja wa Sheikh Amri Abeid.

Wachezaji wa timu hiyo walionekana kuwa kivutio kwa mashabiki wa soka ambao wamekuwa wakionyesha hali ya kuwafurahia katika sehemu mbalimbali wanapoonekana wakitembea.

Wachezaji hao juzi jioni walikuwa na viongozi na makocha wa timu hiyo kwenye Uwanja wa Sheikh Amri Abeid, wakiangalia mechi ya kirafiki ya wapinzani wao AFC dhidhi ya JKT Oljoro iliyomalizika kwa sare ya bao 1-1.

Kocha Mkuu wa Azam, Itamar Amourim na Msaidizi wake Habib Kondo kwa pamoja walikaa sehemu yao wakipeana maelekezo huku wakiandika baadhi ya vitu.

Mashabiki wa AFC wameonekana kukata tamaa na kusema kuwa huenda timu yao ikapoteza mchezo wao wa Ligi Kuu ya Vodacom utakaochezwa kesho Jumamosi dhidi ya Azam kutokana na ubora wa timu hiyo unaokolezwa na usajili bora wa msimu huu.

Baadhi ya wachezaji walisajiliwa na Azam kwa msimu ujao ni Mrisho Ngassa aliyetokea Yanga, Kali Ongalla (Umea FC – Sweden), Ramadhan Chombo na Jabir Aziz (Simba), Peter Senyonjo kutoka Polisi Uganda na Patrick Mafisango kutoka APR ya Rwanda.
